  2. Ingredients:
  3. – 1 cup of rice
  4. – 2 cups of milk
  5. – 1/2 cup of sugar
  6. – 1 tsp vanilla extract
  7. Directions:
  8. 1. Rinse the rice in a fine mesh strainer and bring it to a boil with 4 cups of water in a pot.
  9. 2. Reduce heat to low and let the rice simmer for about 18-20 minutes, or until tender.
  10. 3. Add the milk, sugar, and vanilla extract to the pot and stir until well combined.
  11. 4. Increase the heat to medium and let the mixture simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the rice has absorbed most of the milk and the mixture has thickened.
  12. 5. Remove from heat and let it cool down for a bit.
  13. 6. Once cooled, spoon the creamy rice pudding into bowls and serve warm or chilled.
